Gullinbursti, which mean golden bristles, is a golden boar made by Svartalfar, the black elves, and gifted to the Vanir God Freyr, the Norse God of agriculture and fertility. Gullenbursti pulls Freyr's chariot. Boars were often sacrificed at feasts to seal an oath or promise.
