Odin's ravens, Huginn and Muninn, with a stylized Yggdrasil , the World Tree, adorned with a Triskele and ornate design.

Hugin and Munin (pronounced "HOO-gin" and "MOO-nin"; Old Norse Huginn and Muninn, are two ravens who help the god Odin.

Ravens were of great significance to the Vikings and revered as a sign from the Gods when they appeared. Odin had two ravens named Hugin and Munin (Old Norse Huginn and Muninn) The names come from the words hugr and munr which translates to "Thought" and "Memory"

Two ravens sit on his (Odin's) shoulders and whisper all the news which they see and hear into his ear; they are called Huginn and Muninn. He sends them out in the morning to fly around the whole world, and by breakfast they are back again. Thus, he finds out many new things and this is why he is called 'raven-god'.

After seeing the photos and reading the reviews I was expecting a nice piece of jewelry. But I was wrong. What I got far exceeded my expectations. This is one high quality piece of craftsmanship. It is exquisite. The detail in the Ravens is on par with similar items I have seen in local shops costing hundreds of dollars. The pendant also has a nice weight to it. No cheesy little trinket here. Top notch all the way. The chain that came with it is well made and very heavy. Mr. T. would be jealous of this chain.
I had my eye on a few more items from this shop and now that I have seen the quality of this one item I will be a frequent customer.
