Material: zinc alloy - lighter and comfortable for hair or clothing wear. Not 316L stainless; chosen for weight and detail in hair accessories and brooches.

It is very good quality, looks beautiful. There is one thing that I would like to have: the needle to be attached to the body of the broche. It is so easy to lose it.

The piece is beautiful, and lovely quality. It was a gift that I bought to go with a cashmere wrap, and my girlfriend loved it. I would caution that the hole that the fibula makes in material is quite large if you choose to do that, especially if you use it multiple times. My girlfriend showed me how she could wrap the material around it without making a hole at all so it works. I was happy with it and so was she.
