These earrings measure 1 3/4" long and 3/4" wide.
The french ear wires are stainless steel and the Rune charms are zinc alloy.

Helm of Awe, in Old Norse, was used to strike fear in the hearts of the enemy.

The following is from the Poetic Edda in the book of Fafnismal where Fafnir declares his strength and power from using the Helm of Awe.

The Helm of Awe

Amongst all, I alone was strong,
I thought to myself,
For I found no power a match for my own.

Material: lightweight zinc alloy charms on stainless steel ear wires (French wire / hook style as listed). Charms are zinc alloy, not solid 316L.
